Acting Gov. Hopes Citizen Needs of Transportation Could Be Fulfilled

Acting Jakarta Governor Sumarsono hopes with the additional Transjakarta maxi bus, it could fulfill citizen needs of safety and comfortable public transportation. 

This were given thus city transportation can be more comfortable and citizen will have a better access.

"This were given thus city transportation can be more comfortable and citizen will have a better access. This is a part of service. The manifestation of 'Now is Better' tagline," he said in Transjakarta new tagline and 100th maxi bus launching event, Sunday (4/9), at Silang Monas Barat Daya, Central Jakarta.

He added the fulfillment of transportation needs in Jakarta is done gradually with integrated pattern feeder bus, LRT, MRT and routes addition.

He emphasized the main purpose is not the number of vehicle, but the service quality that can satisfy citizen.

"We will gradually implement that, depends on Transjakarta capability. As the target, there will be 300 units of maxi bus that will be operated in the end of this year," he closed.
